To see the stars is fortunate. I imagine they still exist. In my world stars shine only on Hollywood Boulevard. Reflecting light from street lights mosaic imprints fused on my mind. Imagine what love of clouds would be if they would disappear for just a night to look up to see the sky so bright twinkles in eyes that have been there since birth but hardly seen ‘cause of machines that toss changes to atmosphere and low and high pressures that interfere. Oh the starry night to see the sky wonders in a new light. Thank you Joyce.

This is a very clever idea. I love the stillness of the night, too. Those cosy hours between dusk and dawn. It's a time full of possibilities, where the conditions are perfect for the creative mind to wander and discover magical things! 😎

Thank you, Chris. It’s the twilight I like most, not yet completely dark (or even early morning before sunrise)but already the feel of night. Magical time, indeed 💙🌹

Joyce, this is just beautiful! I am a night owl and have a special affinity for the quiet, velvety hours, and they are my most creative. Thank you for this gorgeous poem ❤️

Aaaaah! Bring on the Night. (I have a jade cat about 2 inches high that sits and watches me as I type. I'm sure it's whispering ideas--or maybe it's a new recipe for hot cocoa.)

Why thank you, AC. Oh you could be right about the cat whispering. Mysterious ideas sound so much better than the new recipe for a cup of hot cocoa 🌹😻

I’m sure he’s whispering ideas. I need to listen more closely.
