So uplifting and I enjoyed the nostalgic feel of your words- felt like I was reading from the romantic period poets that I have always loved. Thank you for posting
This is absolutely gorgeous! makes me think of my dad and his love of birds and photographing them. He taught me to love them through the lens too. It brought tears, as a memory came, when he said, "I'm too weak to lift my camera," tears gently rolling down his face. He was such a tough man. His camera always laid on the kitchen table, in view of the outside bird feeders he built.
I loved it. Dad was a good man. He was dying and he couldn't lift his camera anymore and it still chokes me to this day. My 6'2" strong dad. The birds will always remind me. Thank you again. ox
It even chokes me, so much love between you. But remember, Love Never Dies! It transcends the barrier between this life and the next. As I like to say, he sleeps in a room in your heart, door open to let love flow freely in and out. He’ll always be with you 🙏💙💫
That is beautiful and that's exactly how it feels. It's definitely open and there. I was trying to get on with the day and was remembering his "isms" - so I turned around and laid them out. I needed that and your poem. Great morning! thank you :)
Roy :) I just wrote about the things he used to say and this made me roll with laughter all the way through. I love how this happens when you feel that moment of sentiment and tears.
With many bright lights here, we can! Shine forth, light the path of those who wander in darkness; shine bright, illuminate the path where the roads cross, so that the right path will be followed 🙏💙💫

Thsnk you Tesstamona 💙🙏💫
Wonderful sentiment! Myself, I prefer the flightless kind, that can't, and wouldn't, take wing to go off.
Thank you 💙💫

I’ll read it later (dishes to do 🙄)
Lovely poem about our feathered friends. My faves are sparrows and cardinals.
Thank you, VP. Yes, I love sparrows (no cardinals here), and actually there aren’t many birds I don’t like 💫
BEAUTIFUL! <3
